Power Sector Manpower

Of the 6,280 power sector employees in 2022, the majority (3,540 employees) were technical staff (i.e. engineers, technical officers and technicians). Residents constituted the bulk (93%) of the workforce in the power sector in 2022.1 The workforce grew by 2% per annum from 2020 to 2022.
