Installed Capacity of Grid-Connected Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems by User Type

The total installed capacity of grid-connected solar PV systems was 1,932 MWp as at end Q3 2025. This was a 6% (or 100.4 MWp) increase from the preceding quarter.

The private sector contributed to majority of the solar PV capacity (65.9% or 1,273.5 MWp), followed by town councils & public housing common services (22.5% or 435.6 MWp). The remaining PV capacity contributions were from public service agencies (6.1% or 117.4 MWp) and residential sector (5.5% or 105.3 MWp).
