Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Overview
To date, EMA has appointed four term liquefied natural gas (LNG) importers, namely: ExxonMobil Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd carrying on business as ExxonMobil LNG Asia Pacific, Pavilion Energy Singapore Pte Ltd, Sembcorp Fuels (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. and Shell Eastern Trading (Pte) Ltd. Each Term LNG Importer is authorised under their respective Term LNG importer licence to import and supply regasified LNG to gas users in Singapore on a term basis, i.e. under gas sales agreements with 1 year or longer duration, subject to the terms and conditions of the Licence.
To avail gas users more options to procure regasified LNG supply, EMA is conducting this RFP to appoint up to two new Term LNG importers. EMA intends to select and license by end-Sep 2022 the new Term LNG Importer(s) who can offer baseline term gas sales agreements at competitive prices to any interested gas users as well as commence first delivery no later than 1 Mar 2023.
This RFP is not a tender for LNG supply or LNG sales to EMA or any user in Singapore and should not be construed as such, nor will the acceptance of the proposal create any contractual relationship between EMA and the Importer(s). It will be the responsibility of the appointed Importer(s) to source for LNG from suppliers and/or its own LNG supply portfolio. It will also be the responsibility of the appointed Importer(s) to negotiate and enter into term gas sales agreements with buyers in Singapore for the sale of regasified LNG.
