Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

EMA invites interested parties to submit proposals to aggregate natural gas demand in Singapore and to import liquefied natural gas (LNG) into Singapore in order to serve such aggregated demand on the terms and conditions set out in the RFP document.
We intend to appoint up to 2 entities through this RFP to provide the LNG service. The appointed importer will each be awarded an exclusive franchise which will expire at the earlier of (a) 3 years from the date of being licensed by EMA to import LNG or (b) the date that the importer has sold to end users an aggregate of 1 million tonnes per annum of LNG under gas sales agreements with a minimum of 1 year.
This RFP is not a tender for LNG supply or LNG sales to EMA or any other user in Singapore and should not be construed as such, nor will the acceptance of the proposal create any contractual relationship between EMA and the importer. It will be the responsibility of the appointed importer to source LNG from suppliers and/or its own LNG supply portfolio. It will also be the appointed importer's responsbility of the appointed importer to negotiate and enter into contracts with buyers in Singapore for the sale of LNG, either in its liquid or regasified form.
