Safeguards are in place to protect consumers in the electricity market.
Under the Code of Conduct for Retail Electricity Licensees, all retailers are required to conduct fair marketing and contracting practices. EMA will not hesitate to take action against any retailer if they do not comply with the Code.
To better protect consumers, EMA will be enhancing the regulatory framework for electricity retailers.
